We provide the Experience; You supply the Knowledge.

Volunteer Today!

Formula SAEĀ® is globally the most established educational motorsport competition organized by SAE International. Backed by industry and academia, the competition aims to provide real world experience to young engineers bridging the gap as they enter the workforce. Universities from across the globe accept the challenge to conceive, design, fabricate and compete with small formula-style race cars. The cars are built with a team effort over a period of eight to twelve months before reaching competitions where students are judged on their knowledge and vehicles are judged on performance.

As a Formula SAE Volunteer, your time and talent will add value to our competition. Come enjoy everything the competition has to offer by helping the teams (thousands of students) directly.

For the 2023 competition season, both competitions will be hosted in Brooklyn, Michigan.
Our May competition is designed to host 120 combustion class teams.
Our June competition is designed to host up to 75 electric class teams.
